I haven’t posted in a while because my friend, Sandra Carpenter has come to visit.  We have been to Farmington to se the Angel Peak overlook and to Aztec to see the ruins.  We met another friend in Aztec and had lunch with her.  Lola Gonzales invited us to her house and we had a nice visit on her patio under some large shade trees.  She has a very interesting ‘pet’.  A large black rabbit is as tame as a little dog.  While we were in Dulce I spotted what I thought was 4 men wearing rain slickers in a row boat.  After a closer look, I think it was supposed to be a banana split.  You decide! (Notice the ice cream cone sticking out the back of the boat) In a couple weeks, I will be leaving here to go to Wyoming for a short visit.  I will be back here until after Labor Day.

2015-6

A couple of my RV buddies have come to visit.  John and Barry are here.  Yesterday we spent the day sight-seeing and shopping in Farmington.  We went to look at a BLM campground near Bloomfield called Angel Peak.  The campground is pretty remote but the surrounding area is a pretty spectacular view.  It looks like a mini version of the Grand Canyon.

We are planning a cookout for the 4th of July with burgers                            and potato salad.  It’s nice to have some company here, it’s a pretty remote area.
